In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, where the dazzling lights of the night clubs set the tone for fun, a different light now rises, one that pierces souls. We want to turn a club that used to vibrate to the sounds of modern rhythms and ephemeral joy into a House of Prayer.

In a Europe that is closing more and more churches to be later converted into clubs, bars and cafes, this transformation is not just about changing a physical space, but about changing lives. We want this place for people to find solace for broken hearts, community instead of loneliness, and meaning instead of shallowness.

Project Progress

Update 7 - The begining of February 2025 for Deo Gloria

After a period of stagnation due to the December holidays and a shortage of construction personnel at the beginning of January, we are happy to announce that things are moving forward again.

God has worked through people, and we have managed to raise the necessary funds for the heat pumps, which have just been installed and will be tested in the coming days. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us, prayed, and given generously. May God bless you!

In addition to this progress, we have:

Applied the final coats of paint
Installed acoustic foam on the ceiling
Started laying the carpet
Repainted and restored the building’s exterior, which was covered in graffiti
Made significant progress in the bathrooms and children's room
Refurbished and repainted the bathroom walls

Things are starting to take shape, and we know that it is all by God's grace and mercy.

We wholeheartedly thank those who are abroad, who think of us and support this work from a distance. Your prayers and contributions are a blessing.

We also extend our gratitude to everyone in the country—friends, family, and acquaintances of the Church. We are overwhelmed by your support and love.

Next comes the interior furnishing phase, where we will need furniture, media equipment, security systems, utilities, and services. This will be both a challenge and a crucial step for us.

Our resources are insufficient, but we have faith that God will provide. He is transforming this former nightclub into a house of prayer, and we are witnessing His work.

Update 7 - Deo Gloria in colors

With joy and gratitude, we bring you news about the progress made on the new building. We thank the Lord for His grace and help throughout every step of this journey!

The walls have come to life – They have been painted, bringing a fresh and vibrant atmosphere to the interior.
Investments in finishing touches – We have purchased carpet and linoleum, which will soon be installed to add comfort and aesthetics.
New spaces – The children’s room and office have already been built, offering functionality and organization.
The bathrooms have been cleaned and rebuilt, ready for use.
Heating pipes have been installed, but we face a challenge: the building does not currently have its own heating system, which prevents us from completing the heating installation.

To move forward, we need an investment of 9,000 euros to purchase and install a heating system. We pray for the necessary resources and trust that the Lord will provide once again.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far – whether through work, donations, or prayers. Let’s continue together with this wonderful project, which will become a place of His presence and blessing!

Update 6 - September - The last phase of the renovation

Update 5 - August- New Rooms

In August, the work on transforming the former nightclub into a house of prayer made significant progress, bringing us closer to the completion of this special place for the community.

A substantial part of the effort focused on the children's room, which is being designed to be a bright, comfortable, and safe space for the little ones. This area will provide a friendly and warm environment where children can learn and enjoy special activities.

At the same time, important progress was made in expanding the guest reception office, creating a larger and better-organized space. This office will be the central point for welcoming visitors, ensuring a warm and efficient reception for everyone who enters the building.

In the main hall, a portion of the stage was constructed, an essential element for future events, meetings, and moments of prayer. This stage will serve as a focal point for speeches, music, and community activities, fostering an atmosphere of communion and unity.

Additionally, the technical team worked diligently on the electrical system installation on the first floor, a critical step in ensuring that the spaces will function optimally and safely, preparing them for use.

All of these achievements would not have been possible without the generous support of those who have backed this project. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed, whether through donations, volunteering, or prayers. Without your involvement and dedication, this vision would not have been able to take shape. We are deeply grateful for every gesture of support and for the trust you place in us in this mission.

Together, step by step, we are building not just a building, but a place for meeting with God, a space for communion and spiritual transformation. We continue to move forward with faith, knowing that with your help and divine blessing, everything is possible.

Update 4 - July- Roof and first floor

We look forward to the month ahead as we aim to bring beauty and tranquility to this place.

In July we started to see how the traces of the former club are slowly being erased to give birth to the House of Prayer. It's a long road, but one full with Blessings. We managed to finish the work on the roof, thus stopping the water infiltration. We have also almost completed the electrical part on the first floor, preparing for a new stage of transformation.

The walls were carefully prepared, ready to receive the colors that will bring life and warmth to this space. We are happy to see how every detail takes shape, bringing us closer to our shared dream.

Simultaneously with the works on the first floor, we also started to prepare the ground floor for the works that will follow. We took down from the walls what was not good, uncovered the windows that stopped the light from entering the building. We also tested the room's acoustics to make a decision about which sound system to buy.

In this journey, we have been deeply encouraged by your prayers and kind thoughts. We thank God for being with us every step of the way and for guiding our hands and hearts. Thank you all for your support and trust, which have been like a guiding light on this path of transformation.

Update 3 -June - We started the work on the first floor

Several men in the church have already started to take down the ceiling to solve the water leakage problems. We're starting to let the light in on what was once a night club. Of course the teenagers came to help with everything they could.

Update 2 - May- Cleaning up, starting point

Although we still need a lot of funds, we have already started. We trust that the Lord is taking care of us. Our young people started to lend a helping hand with the hope that the meetings will be much more frequent and more accessible once this project is finished.

Entrance

This is where the reception will take place, a place where we want people to feel from the start that they have entered a place of prayer,

Socializing place

The old bar will be transformed into a socializing place for young people and visiting guests, hopefully a place where close relationships will be formed.

Ground Floor

The ground floor that will be divided to become the Sunday School but also a space for socializing for those who want to stay a bit more after the Sunday Service.

Stairs to the first floor

The part of the passage between the ground floor and the first floor, the place for socializing and the place where the Sunday Service will be held.

First Floor

The place of Sunday Service will be completely changed so that the world can come and worship God.

Exterior

Once the entrance to a club, now the entrance will be restored to welcome visitors looking for a place of prayer.

Update 1 -May- Our first prayer

Before starting all the work, we acknowledge that, first and foremost, we need God's help. We have gathered to pray for this purpose. We need the Lord's blessing and assistance in this endeavor.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of hope and faith. We stand on the threshold of transformation, seeking Your divine guidance as we prepare to turn this clubhouse into a house of prayer. Lord, we ask for Your blessing upon this space, that it may become a sanctuary where Your presence is felt and Your glory is revealed.

Lord, may this place, once filled with laughter and social gatherings, now echo with the sounds of heartfelt prayers and worship. Let the walls of this clubhouse be saturated with Your spirit, making it a beacon of hope, peace, and love for all who enter. Transform it into a haven where hearts are healed, minds are renewed, and souls find rest in Your embrace.

We pray for wisdom and unity among us as we undertake this holy endeavor. Guide our hands and our hearts, Lord, so that every corner of this space reflects Your beauty and grace. May it become a testament to Your power to renew and restore, a place where burdens are lifted and joy is found in abundance.
