About Baptism

Baptism is seen as a sign of the individual's personal faith in Jesus Christ. This is a voluntary and conscious act of a person who has expressed his faith in Christ as Savior and Lord.

Baptism is administered to people who have reached an age where they can make a conscious decision to follow their faith in Christ. It is done only after the person has gone through a period of training and instruction learning about the meaning of baptism and the Christian faith.

Immersion in water

Deo Gloria practices baptism by complete immersion in water. This mode of baptism is considered to be the closest to the biblical model and is seen as a symbolic representation of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Baptism is not seen as a means of salvation in itself, but as a public expression of the individual's personal faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. It is considered an outward manifestation of an inward change that has taken place in the believer's heart.
